Lions Club check presentation on 1945 Turtle Derby. Shown left, D.Y. Dunn and W.T. Rowland receiving checks worth total of $1,200 from I.B. Jones, chairman of the Lions Club sight-conserving committee. City school (represented by Rowland) received $900 and county school (represented by Dunn) received $300 for the purchase of eyeglasses for indigent children.
